Cleantech Finland

Hosted by the embassy of Finland, supported by the National Development and Reform Commission, Cleantech Finland’s seminar was held on the 26th of May, 2010. The topics for discussion were the issues of alternative energy and sustainable development. The President of Finland, Ms. Tarja Halonen, and Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Li Keqiang were among the esteemed speakers at the event. Several significant contracts and cooperation agreements were signed in the presence of these highest leaders of the two countries.

President Halonen proudly said at the seminar: Maybe Finland is a small country in the world, but in bioenergetics and many other fields we possess the most advanced technologies in the world.

Finlands Preseco already has active cooperation with the Anneng Thermal Power Group Co., Ltd. The objectives of their cooperation include building up a rice straw carbonizer in Hubei.
